It's very good, very nice, and all that is said is true.
Ok, after fooling around with this is bit, i got it working.
Step 1: ignore most of the instructions, they're wrong.
Step 2: charge it all the way up before messing with it, else it won't let you start uploading stuff to it
Video: you can use most any software to convert your videos over. 480x480 mp4 is what is needed, though mine does just fine with 720p videos converted by clipchamp (free, windows video editor). You lose some of the the edges, but can go with the lower 480p too. You have to manually change from one video to the next.
Photos: you need to make a folder called 'picture' on the device. In there put some 480x480 96dpi photos. Lower dpi (eg 72, like taken by many cameras) doesn't work. Again, free photo editor will help you out here. I found 400x400 size to look the best. Like video, you have to manually switch, it doesn't cycle on its own.
Now, you can't switch between video and photo. You have to remove any videos, else the photos are ignored.
Nice looking product. It can only play one video at a time and you must manually flick to the next one.
Video must be in 480x480 to be seen well.
Awesome. It looks great in my little tree.
It is faulty. There were broken shards of glass. It is not working. I want to return it, but this is unsafe for returns so i just threw it away. I wish i can get a replacement for this, because this is really unsafe and waste of money.
It arrived perfectly, a very nice product.
It arrived perfectly fine, I recommend it, very nice product.
The instructions say they provide you with free software, it's a lie. After figuring it out, it seems to be a solid device.
It's just like the images and the resolution is very good! A great gift :)
It works great, but it's important to convert the videos to the correct size and format, otherwise it won't work.
This work's exactly as mentioned. I also learned that you literally cannot have any other folders on this device including hidden folders. I originally connected this to a mac and the mac created some hidden folders on it which caused the device to not play any videos including the included ones that i know worked. Besides that everything worked as stated. The device has issues playing videos that are long so far my 1 minute video and 4 minute video hve trouble playing, but my 30 second video has no issues at all. The longer videos will get stuck on frame while the sound continues playing and eventually it will change frames. I also wish the device would play each video stored automatically instead of having to manually switch it. Overall i like this device.
These are awesome. I bought 4 as gifts and i can't wait to see what they think.
These are amazing and the sound quality and imagery are great. Highly recommend!
Excellent item, easy to use once you know how to change the file type and sizes. I have 4 of these now
This thing took a moment for me to figure out, it requires a specific resolution and size of video to work, but once you nail that it is truly an amazing little gadget. My family and i are looking forward to our memories playing on the tree this year!
